Best pizza on property?

"Good" pizza can be a very divisive topic and I definitely understand why a lot of folks aren't thrilled about WDW's options. With that said, I'm a pretty big fan of Pizza Ponte. It definitely hits the spot after a long day and you're just trying to grab something quick at DS.

Via Nap will always be my favorite WDW pizza with Blaze pizza at DS my second…I’ve had Flippers pizza a number of times and wasn’t crazy about their sauce…too many seeds and skins.

I’m not refined enough to know if counts as good pizza for this question but if I was at Disney and I craved pizza my go to would be il mulino. I originally remembered it being a flatbread rather than pizza but thought was very good for price and checking menu it’s listed as pizza (I honestly don’t even know what makes something flatbread vs pizza lol).

Thankfully we did not have that experience at Flippers, just a few days ago.

Pizza is my favorite and was excited to see the new deck ovens at the Campground. Sad to say, we threw away our pizza. It was that bad.

Pizza Ponte in DS is okay and I like Giordano's off-site. Wolfgang Puck's in DS is good wood-fired pizza. My last Via Napoli pizza was under done and underwhelming, will not be going back.

You’re better off calling a local place

We thought about trying Giordanos

just came back from Boardwalk and the pizza is mediocre again LOL.
Mediocre and expensive, I got a full cheese pie for $42 bucks , damn
That is ridicules. The pies were 18 maybe 4 years ago then 21 I believe after this is when the prices changed.
It was always good (not great) pizza.
I enjoyed getting a table on the BW later at night and ordering the Pizza but no way for 42... it is a small 6 slice pie in the end.
The owners of the Pizza window are actually from Brooklyn.

As an alternative Blaze is also decent a chain but far from what the other chains are.

The BW pizza window no longer lists any whole pies on their menu. You have to pay for the equivalent of 4 of their slices. Last month, when I ordered a slice, I actually received one-fourth of a pizza, and it was already sliced in two, so a total of eight actual slices from the whole pie. The size of a quarter-slice would have been quite unwieldy to eat. The pizza diameter also was larger than the old (pre-Covid?) pizzas from the window. The gluten free pizza option (not on the menu, but available) is an individual 10” pie prepared in the wood-fired oven in Trattoria al Forno. I order that for my DW. Price is about $2 higher than the pizza window slice. As GF pizza crust goes, it is quite acceptable.

VN is highly rated, but I wasn't crazy about it. I love pizza, but I've come to accept that I'll just have to have something else while I'm at WDW. I can have pizza anytime at home. :)
Yeah, we have tried VN a couple of times and our family gives it a "Just ok" vote. We like NY style and when we lived in Central Florida we found a few really good pizza places and even where we live now (Florida panhandle) we found a great pizza place by our house, so yes there are a bunch of good pizza places in Florida :D

Recently read that Via Napoli imports their water from Philadelphia, because its the closest to naples as far as taste and mineral compound

I'm
Where did you read that?

I've heard that as well regarding spring water from Pennsylvania. The official Disney restaurant description references spring water (as well as San Marzano tomatoes and flour imported from Italy) but doesn't say where the water is from. This unofficial fan blog post from 2010 when it opened mentions PA. Of course in the years since they may have found other sources, but I believe at least initially it was from PA.

Via Napoli’s specialty is pizza. They’ve recreated spring water that is suppose to be very close to water in Italy, which they say is the key to the pizza dough. They’ve imported water from a spring in Pennsylvania and added minerals to make it as close to the Italian water as possible.
