Best Pizza in Walt Disney World

Well we are from the chicago area and do love our pizza (especially my DH).. I know not to expect anything too great but out of curiosity who do you think has the best pizza in Walt Disney World? I found the burger thread interesting and it made me wonder the same thing about pizza.

We are from the Chicago area as well (western suburbs). Believe me...there is no good pizza in Disney World or surrounding area!

We are also from Chicago and think the WDW pizza is awful!! Go to Giordano's right outside the World by DTD- it's Chicago style goodness!

I have to agree, DW pizza is not so tasty... The dough is always to dry for me. However, I love eating at Pizza Planet in DHS! The atmosphere is so fun, and their veggie pizza is pretty tasty all things considered! ​

IMO, there is no good pizza anywhere in WDW. None that I've ever had anyway. Maybe someone else knows of some pizza goodness in WDW, but I haven't found it. If someone knows... please share!

The flatbread at Captains Cooks at the Poly is pretty good.

North Jersey Pizza is the best. Even WebmasterPete Werner says so, (Bradley Beach, NJ). Unfortunately nothing in "The World" comes anywhere close to it.

I'm from the NE and I agree. In fact, I had pizza at Wolfgang Pucks and it was pretty sad. The pizza window at the boardwalk was pitiful. Pizzafari was actually OK

I have had Pizza at Gasparilla Grill & Games in the Grand Floridian, Pizzafari at the Animal Kingdom and the Flatbread Pizza at Captin Cook's in the Polynesian. I also had it at Wolfgang Puck Express however it's been a few years since my family and I last went there, so I don't remember how it was. Anyway out of the three other locations I mentioned, I liked the Pizza better at Gasparilla's and Pizzafari.

Once we had a chatty WDW bus driver. He was offering everyone tips. For the best burger go to ________ , for the best wine go to ______________, for the best steak go to ___________. And then with all seriousness he said "for the best pizza, go to Chicago. You won't find any good pizza at WDW!"

yeah, i've been on the search for good pizza at disney world for years now! you wonder why it's so bad??

i ate at toy story pizza planet and it was pretty good, not the greatest thing in the world, but it wasn't horrible either.

There is a Giordano's Pizza near Disney World Property. They serve some of the best Chicago style deep dish pizza I've tasted.

Just to throw this out there:

Instead of Wolfgang Puck's, we've found House of Blues to have a pretty decent pizza. Not world class, but well above average for WDW.

At least now I know I am not too picky ....I have never had any good pizza in WDW....I live in NJ near Philadelphia, and I think this area of the country has great pizza too, so I am spoiled!!!

How close is the Giordano's Pizza? We won't have a car at the World but is it withing walking/short cab ride distance?

We love the thin crust pizza at Portabello Yacht Club at DTD.

DW pizza sucks pure and simple.

Wolfgang Pucks pizza is pretty good - try that in Downtown Disney if you go there but in the theme parks-not so much

My son had pizza at Tony's Town Square Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom and it was pretty tasty...
