Okay, so we know from the "Worst Food" thread that Spoodles pretty much has the most awful pizza. SO, being a pizza fanatic, I'd like to know --> where is the *BEST* pizza in the World? <--

Mama Melrose's flatbread.... LOVE IT!!! The room service pizza is awful!!!

What room service?

We will have to try Mama Melrose's flatbread next time!

Most resorts (maybe even all) offer very, very limited room service.... basically just pizza, wings, & a few other things. It was awful!!!

I've heard that Pizza Planet at MGM has great pizza. We plan on trying it in a couple of days! YEAH!

We love the flatbreads at California Grill as well as those at Mama Melrose. The ones at MM are more like a traditional thin crust pizza. Both are yummy!

The Polynesian room service pizza is OK. Better than GFs. BTW the deluxe resorts offer a decent size room service menu. Entrees, salads, sandwiches, desserts and appetizers as well as pizza. We love room service at the Polynesian and GF. We just don't order pizza!

Pizza Planet pizza looks nasty to me but lots of people say they like it so I guess we should try it someday.

My favorite pizza is found at Tony's Town Sqaure in the Magic Kingom (try Tony's Pizza with grilled chicken, caramalized onion, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms) or the great pizzas at Wolfgang Puck Cafe at Downtown Disney (I love the BLTA with applewood smoked bacon, mozzarella and fontina cheeses, roma and sun-dried tomatoes, avacado, and tossed romaine lettuce).
Happy eating!

Uh, I have to disagree with whoever it was that said Pizza Planet's pizza was good. Y-U-C-K!!! It was the some of the worst I've ever had.

The best pizza was in Downtown Disney, where the Wolfgang Puck Express is now. It was a counter service pizza place, anybody know the name of it?

Okay, I know there are many out there who will disagree (I've seen previous comments) My Favorite Pizza is from Spoodles Pizza window at the BW!!!:p

We had lunch at an Italian restaurant today and our son ordered a BBQ chicken flatbread. He commented that it was fine but not nearly as good as Wolfgang Puck Cafe's version. How could I have forgotten that? WP does have great pizza.

The pizza at the food court at ASMu was very good 3 yrs ago. The kids enjoyed their pizza at Mamma Melrose last yr.

tubbies at the dolphin has great pizza and fairly inexpensive prices.

It's not on WDW property but close - we loved the Chicago Style pizza at Uno's earlier this month. It's in the Crossroads Shopping Center near Downtown Disney. We placed a take out order, went for our groceries at Winn-Dixie and then picked it up on the way back to OKW. It was expensive, but the best we ever had!

The best pizza I've had on property was at Evergreen Sports Bar at SoG, which is closed at this time. They also had Bitburger on tap, BTW.

Palio's at the Swan has brick oven pizza that looks very good, but not as good as the rack of lamb I ordered, hehe.

We enjoyed a couple of meals at the Golf Resort before it became SOG. Glad to hear that the food is still good.

And smfnj, if you serve/d in our military, on this Memorial Day let me say thanks!

The food at the sports bar is very good, the chili was awesome as well.

I did serve in the Navy for 10 years, '77 - '87, but I'm not eligble to stay there. We stayed once with my mom and dad, dad had 100% service connected disability. My son joined the Navy in '99, has 2 years to go and we stayed there with him once before they closed for renovations.

He'll be on leave from Sicily in Nov. We've been planning a trip to WDW for when he is on leave and Disney sprang this Salute to the Military on us, this is a very nice gesture indeed. He'll get a free 5 day pass and 40% off reservations. We already have AP's so cant take advantage of the 5 day pass for $99.

Sorry this has gotten off-topic....This will make 3 trips to WDW that SoG has been closed and I do miss Evergreens.
