Our first day in the parks (Disneyland) is also my son's 13th birthday. He LOVES pizza and pasta. I mean LOVES :love::love: it. Where would be a good place to take him for a late lunch (maybe 2ish) . Love to hear some ideas!! Thank you !:goodvibes

Sadly, I'm not a big fan of the in-park pizza optios (e.g., Red Rockett's Pizza Port). On the other hand, Naples, in DTD, has some pretty good pizza options.

Pizza Press is delicious, and inexpensive. $10 a pizza, and they have a huge variety of toppings to customize it.

I enjoyed the sundried tomato chicken pasta at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in DCA. The flatbread was okay, but I liked the pasta better.

We don't care for the Pizza at Red Rocket's Pizza Port either, but we do really enjoy the Flatbread Pizza and all of the Pasta choices at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta(in DCA).

We don't usually leave the Parks to eat somewhere else, unless it's in DTD, but the last couple of times we had Pizza at Napolini, it.was.disgusting!!!!

We've had Pizza at Naples before, and it was fresh, hot, and delicious.

We've also ordered Pizza at PCH Grill(at PPH), and really liked it!:)

My son (8) and I went last year for Spring break to Naples in DD. He will never walk foot in there again. He ordered the kids pizza and it was tasteless. My food was awful and I was still hungry. The service was awful as well. I won't go there again either.

There was a place on Diners Drive ins and Dives episode Tried and true that is close to DL that is suppose to be a really good Italian restaurant.Off the top of my head, I can't recall the name of it, but it will come to me.

There's a California Pizza Kitchen in the Garden Walk near DL. There's also a Cheesecake Factory that has both pizza and pasta I believe.

We also really enjoy Naples Margherita pizza. MMMM. We've eaten there a lo and always had good food and good service, or we wouldn't go back.

I like the pasta at Redd Rockets, but have never tried the pizza there.

Just looked up the Pizza Press! I'm excited to eat there. Sounds tasty and the reviews are great... price is right too especially when feeding a group of 10. :)

We like the pasta at the Pizza Port. Not the pizza, though.

In DCA, the pasta at Boardwalk is actually a notch better than the PizzaPort. Pizza is better there also. Plus, you can sit outside, eat and watch the parades go by.

The pizza and pasta is even better at Naples in DTD, but the wait can be very long...

Oh wow..thanks for all who replied! I love hearing reviews!!! I will research some more ! We ate at the place next to space mountain last time I think..and he liked it but we weren't too fond. I like the idea of sitting outside watching parades ! Thanks again and keep ideas coming!:cool1:
