I've spent the morning read chip_and_dale!'s informative articles about scrappers, scammers, and sharks, and now I'm a little overwhelmed!
My DD (age 9), would like to trade a few pins when we go to WDW in late January. I'd like to get her a lanyard and a few pins for Christmas -- 1) so she'll have something to trade right away; and 2) so I can hopefully save a few $$ by getting them ahead of time off eBay rather than paying full price in the parks.
My problem is that all the ones that catch my eye are things she wouldn't want to let go of! The It's A Small World (Asia) pin, for example. She'd looooove that, but she wouldn't want to trade it away.
Can y'all offer suggestions on some reasonably priced ($5 or less), general pins that cast members would be willing to accept in trade? I don't really want rare, limited edition, hard-to-find pins...
