We'll be going to Universal in March 2010 and want to get a room, not because we need a place to sleep but because we want FOTL. At most it would be a place for the grandkids to take a nap. Who do you think would be the best person to ask for a room with a restricted view or in the worst possible location so we could get it at the lowest price possible? The front desk?

call and request an obstructed view room.

if one is available, it will be marked down.

what part of march will you go?
will you be there during holiday season?
if you are, book the room now and request the room without the view....

if one is not available when you book, then you would have to rely on the front desk to assign it to you.
that is, if it is available.

look at the website for prices for march 2010.
compare the hotels then count on the cheapest one to book.

hrh and rph would be the ones with the blocked views.
foliage and trees have been growing for years now and create blocked views on some of the rooms.
