Ok, I have tried and tried to remember what the path is, but I can't recall. I know I have seen it posted on here many times that when walking to the entrance from HoJo, it is best to take a different cross-walk and the then cut through a parking lot? Can anyone help me fill in the blanks? lol I always leave something important out at the end. :rotfl:

Hopefully Bumbershoot will see this and rescue you....LOL. She is the person who made the great post with pics etc. but I'm not able to search for it right now. :) We are also planning on using that "shortcut" for our trip in a few weeks. :)

Oohhh, I would like to know the answer to this question too, I was wondering the other day about this...

We always cross the street at the stoplight closest to Hojo's and then cut thru the taxi lot before the main entrance. This puts you on the other side of the shuttles and opposite the main walkway filled with people.

Walk to the end of Manchester and cross Manchester parallel to Harbor. Then cross Harbor at the next corner. Walk down the DL side of Harbor towards the bus stop, at the bus stop hang a right thru the shuttle/taxi parking and walk on thru to security. :)

We stayed in building one. We came down the elevator, turned left, and came out the side door. We jaywalked (I know, I'm bad, but there was always very little traffic and it was quite safe) across Manchester right there and then walked up to the stoplight to cross to the West side of Harbor. Then you walk down past the entrance where the delivery trucks enter (and there's a sign that says "no pedestrians) so we kept walking past the bus stop. Next to the bus stop is the walkway, it cuts through the hedge, leading onto the second traffic circle. You are across the entrance driveway from everybody else who crossed by BWPPI. You can follow up your walkway around the opposite side of the circle, but while we were there, the north security tables were never open, so we frequently jaywalked again across the shuttle driveway, over to where everybody else was heading for the southernmost security tables.

Gail you naughty jaywalker!

DS calls out jaywalkers loudly, so we can't ever do that. :headache:

Everyone pretty much has it. It's much easier than it sounds. :) I found the taxis to be a good visual cue of where to turn in...you're walking on the quiet side of Harbor and you see the taxis, so turn right in there. You'll soon see the hordes of people who walked the busy side of Harbor, over on the left, but you can walk faster b/c you aren't bumping into others, and you'll be there just a bit quicker and perhaps a little bit less annoyed (without the bumping!). :)

On the way out reverse it, unless at some point you want to grab Millie's or Mimi's to go for dinner in your room!

Thank you all!!! Have everything we need to make a safe crossing now. ;) I am sooooo excited....it is almost time for us to go!!! :cool1:

Also, in Molly's (bumbershoot) TR for her trip in May (link is in her siggie), on page 9, she has pictures of her walk from the Hojo to the parks. So you can get a visual. This helped me picture in my head where I was going to be walking.

:)
