Best parks for Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving?

Or should I avoid the parks totally those two days? I'll be there both Thanksgiving week (at OKW) and the week after (at BCV). So on Friday and Saturday, I'll be at an "interim" hotel for the weekend, most likely it'll be POR. Since I have an AP, I could just hop into a park in the morning or evening. Because if it's best to avoid the parks totally for those 2 days, I just don't know what I could do to fill up those 2 days. Any non-park suggestions? Or parks to spend a little time in (except Epcot-planning to spend lots of time there all the next week)?

I don't really have an answer for you. I know that touring AK the Saturday after Thanksgiving is not recommended. Epcot may be a good choice for Friday.

I am looking for which park to do on Thanksgiving Day. I would love to do Epcot, but historically, Candlelight Processional doesnt start until Friday. I may do Studios or AK.

We were there during Thanksgiving last year. We went to MK on Thursday and by 1 p.m., it was downright scarey. On Friday, we went back at openning and it was actually not bad. Saturday before we left, we went back to MK just to ride a few favorites one last time. Again, we were early, so it was not that bad.

I'd steer clear of MK on Thursday, and get there early on Friday. Enjoy!!

Sounds like if I'm "up and at 'em" (as Mickey says when he calls) and head to the MK, I might get a little time in before it gets too crowded? If so, that sounds like a pretty good idea. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the rest of the day. Sounds like AK's out-too bad, I like that park, but I DISlike crowds more!

Shopping at DTD is always a fun non-park thing for us. Also visiting all the resorts looking at the Christmas decorations.
