My flight is at 6:30 am, and because I did not do a good job at planning, I did not realize the trains dont run until a certain time and now we have to drive.

What is the best option for parking? I am looking for something inexpensive yet a nice place

Any suggestions?

The JFK AirTrain from the subway station and long-term parking runs 24 hours per day. The subway also runs 24 hours. What train were you looking at?

We ALWAYS try to get a flight out before 7, and have had no trouble using the AirTrain from long-term parking.

My family has a flight out of JFK for 6:30 AM as well. We were originally driving and planned on leaving the car in the long term parking area. After much consideration, my husband and I both feel the better bet is just to take a cab over there. This way we don't have to fuss with the car, parking, trams etc. A roundtrip costs a little less than the long term parking and it also gives a peace of mind while we're away. Do you reside in the boroughs? If so it shouldn't cost you too much ;).

I would take the LIRR, I am not in the city. A one way cab from my house is about $60.

We had thought about leaving the car in my BFs neighborhood in Brooklyn, but he has alternate side parking during the week & I would have no one around to move my car.:sad2: So we have always just paid to park in long-term. It's safe, well lit, easy to get the AirTrain back & forth to the JetBlue terminal, & easy to get back to the Belt to get home. Plus I can put the charge on my EZ Pass and it goes right to the credit card (more reward points toward the next vacation!:thumbsup2)

Anyone know about smart park? I am thinking about using them as they are 12 per day. Are they better than avistar ect.

Please help
