Last minute planing visit WDW July 2..7th, Which Park should we visit on the 3rd ,4th, and 5th ??
Staying at a Downtown Disney Hotel. Should we use a car or use WDW transportaion?

I'd like to know this too...but from what I've read on these boards...DO NOT go to MK on the 4th!!!!!!!Not sure about the other parks....wish I had a crystal ball to tell me!;)
Have a great time...we'll be there too!

I have been to MK on the 4th and it wasn't that bad but then again it was just me and my DH and we didn't mind the crowds. This July 4th I'll be traveling with DF, DM, DH and DS, age 3, so we are going to avoid MK on the 4th. I plan to have a character breakfast at AK and spend most of the day there and then either head to DD or Studios. I figure that most people will be at MK for fireworks and things that evening so we are going to try to go elsewhere as my DF likes to avoid crowds.:smooth:

My SIL and her family were at WDW for 10 days last 4th of July. She said they had lots of plans on the 4th, but everything was soooooo busy, they stayed at the resort and relaxed for the whole day and night.

Otherwise, she said it was a great trip. I don't mean to be negative, but I've heard other people say to avoid WDW on the 4th too. What about Sea World on the 4th and WDW the rest of the time?

Have fun!

We were at WDW for the week of July 4th in 1998 and 2000. It was wonderful!!! We didn't find it all that crowded! For July 4th, we spent the morning at MK and after our nap/swim break, we went to Epcot. Last year, the fireworks at Epcot was absolutely breathtaking!!! We usually went to the EE park, took our nap/swim break, then went to another park for the evening. We really seem to miss the crowds that way. We bought annual passes last year, so we leave in 2 days!!!!! (Just have to use those passes again before they expire!)

In 1999 we arrived on the 4th and went to MGM. We didn't think
it was bad at all, except at park closing. In 2000, we went to Epcot
and it seemed to be alot more people. We ended up going back to the hotel
to relax and swim that night.

The bus driver was making announcements that MK was full to capacity later in the day
on the 4th too. Seems like I read somewhere that you could still get in
if you are a resort guest though????
