Hi! I'm very excited for my family of 5's first trip to Disney world! We are going to be using the dining plan. I'm hoping to stretch the plan by using snacks as a meal one of the days. Which park do you think provides the best snacks to use as meals? What specific snacks do you recommend? Thanks so much for your guidance!

If you are going to WDW during one of the festivals Epcot snacks are a great option

Thanks! Great point! Our dates are Aug 21-28 so unfortunately, I think we will miss the Epcot festival. But Epcot still may have lots of good snacks because of all the different countries!

Sameses. EPCOT. Festival or not. In no particular order.
France, Germany, Festival favorites, Italy, Norway, Oasis.
All have something unique to offer that is either a walkup or mobile order.
Y'all can have the poutine, it reminds me a Northern attempt at loaded nachos.

We never do the DDP so not sure what counts for a snack, but I 2nd the cheeseburger eggrolls. The cinnamon buns at Gaston’s are huge and delicious!
The school bread in Norway at Epcot is really good.
The Patisserie in France has some great desserts that I could definitely have for a meal.
Joffrey’s coffee in all parks has huge donuts.

In Animal Kingdom Flame Tree BBQ has fries with pulled pork and cheese as a snack- it’s a pretty hefty portion! Yak & Yeti quick service has egg rolls, dumplings and fried rice that I think count too.
This if it's not a festival with all of the carts at EPCOT.

You know they killed the old sandwich waffle version and replaced it with a Mickey waffle?
That's disappointing as it was close to my favorite thing on property. May be a bit easier to eat now as the waffle pretty much always fell apart. One could just order another Mickey waffle separate and make a sandwich that way if needed.

I know everyone will say Epcot but last trip my DD and I didn’t do any ADRs for AK days and ate really well. We both wanted to try so many snacks and it worked out well.

We did the pulled pork Mac and cheese, grilled corn, chicken dumplings, Mr. Kamal’s fries, fried rice, egg rolls and the cream cheese egg roll things at Pongu Pongu. I’m sure there were other things but that’s what I really remember. Everything was delicious.

These all sound amazing! Thanks so much!

If your off to AK the pulled Pork Fries at Flame Tree bbq are a great use of a snack credit.
the portion is a fair size & we get these for lunch when we are there.
