Best Park for Toddler?

We are planning a vacation to Orlando for the beginning of May. We are two adults, one who will turn 3 on our last day and a 10 month old. Orlando is the sunniest, warmest place we can fly to from Chicago at a fabulous price. We just wanted a nice getaway with no intentions of going to any of the theme parks. After doing so much hotel research we thought that maybe we should consider going to one. Any one have any thoughts about which park might be most entertaining for a Toddler? It has been over 20 years since I've been to any Orlando park and my husband has never been.

My favorite park for the toddler set is Seaworld. Animals, shows, rides and water play area. What more does a toddler want!

Another great place is Green Meadow Petting Zoo - not a park, but a fun place for a relaxing day with young kids.

Both Universal parks have a ton of interactive areas for toddlers - far more than Disney which tends toward the passive sit & watch show for that age group. At that age my daughter used to LIVE at Popeye's or Fievel's Playland. We could use the whole day there if we let her. Seaworld also has similar attractions to hold a toddlers interest. All tend to involve water so bring those dry clothes to be safe!

You should check out some of the more family-oriented timeshares to stay at. #1 on my list would be Marriott's Harbour Lake. It has many things Toddler would enjoy such as a water park and many play areas. Google the resort.

Thanks...!!! These are exactly the kinds of things I was looking for. My DS will NOT sit still but would prefer to play. I'll check out the website for the Marriot too.
