Best packages for family in August

Hello All,
I just discovered this board.. Pretty cool.. I'm searching for the best possible pacakge deal for a 3 day/4night stay at Wakt Disney World. I'm a military member, but tentative calling shows it's cheaper to stay at one of the Allstar resorts.. Anyone have any more tips on getting the best deal or where to go other than calling direct? I'll be part of a 8+ person party going..

Just returned from Iraq and now wishing to take my family to the best place on Earth...

All star music, sports and movies are a great way to be on-site but save some money! There's also a budget disboard, you should go there and get some money-saving tips! Enjoy!

Hemi, where are you coming from?

I did a trip last August through SWAvacations.com (Southwest Airlines) and we went one of the last weeks of August when they had the free dining promotion. It was a great price going out of Manchester with flights, tix, room at AS Sports, and the free dining.

If you book everything together, I'd check this out and do your homework with some other places, including disney themselves.

If you want to book separately...

For flights (if you can't get them cheap as a military member)... If you're near a southwest airport, I'd recommend downloading the DING software and keeping an eye out for a killer deal, they are out there all the time. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Rooms, look out for codes or other discounts, such as the AAA discount. Expedia and Travelocity usually have some great prices on rooms if you book these pieces separately.

Definitely do some homework if you have time.
