Want to try someplace new that has a two bedroom condo, is walkable and great for all my grandchildren ages 2 to 12. So heated pools, (will be going in a December)hot tubs, playgrounds, children’s activities, water slide . I’m sure you get the idea. My favorite place is Sheraton Vistana Villages but want to consider other options. I figure there are so many great places, please share your favorite.
Thanks!

Bonnet Creek and Orange Lake have great pools, lazy rivers and water slides.

I think the walkable element will probably be the biggest issue. SVV is very walkable as you know, but others like Orange Lake and even Sheraton Vistana Resort can be quite large and not really walkable at all.

I have seen a few mention Marriott Harbor Lake Resort on here before as well.

Thanks for your feedback. I had forgotten about Marriott Harbour Lake. Only negative I could see is I don’t know if their water park area is heated and that would be cold in December. I know the pool is heated:

Wyndham Bonnet Creek meets your terms.

I like that all the walking is also interior around lake rather than in any proximity to cars.

But check on the pools, we've been twice in December and I'm thinking not all are heated.

When my kids were little (they are teens now) I thought that Marriott Harbour Lake was the PERFECT choice...and if it was not SO kid oriented I would choose it again. I'm not sure if all the water features would be running in Dec. but at least the pools would be nice and the one that has the pirate ship would still be fun.

Now it is Vistana Villages that I am trying to research for my family...to the original poster, think it is a good option for teen girls? I like that it is walkable (just like Harbour Lake was)

Sheraton Vistana Villages is my favorite resort and it is walkable but I don’t think it would hold the interest of teenage girls. Unless they really like to swim and enjoy the hot tubs I don’t think there is much to entertain them. We went this year and my grandchildren love it ( ages 4 to 8) but my best friend had her 19 year old daughter there and I think there were times she was bored. They spent a lot of time shopping.

I would also consider the Marriott World Center resort timeshares - Marriott Sabal, Royal, and Imperial. The World Center has a beautiful feature pool with slides and an indoor pool. Also Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve resort is super beautiful with a lazy river and pool slide.
