Ok, I'll set the cast: My DH and Me, my DS an adult and his GF. My younger DS and his GF, young adults.
1st week , No prob, it's a value week, I've got itcovered.
2nd week, I want CL, but although I know it'll cost me, I want it at the best rate. No resort allegiance, have been to many, and like alot.
It doesn't matter if everyone is having there privacy as long my DH is, lol. We are paying for the rooms, so the rest will suck it up.
What's the best? Rate wise I'm looking, and it's okay if it's suites\individual roome\ or even a combo of that. Just that I want C L that week.
thanks for any advice or ideas that anyone has done similar.

Unless you're going in December *I think* the cheapest CL is at Wilderness Lodge. You can add it when you check in. It used to be $99 a night but I think that went up to $129.
It's much cheaper than if you book a CL room.

AKL and YC are usually the best priced club levels (especially with a discount) for what it’s worth. Without knowing your dates and how many you want to put in a room, I’d check those out for the lowest price per single room (usually).

Edited to add: I forgot about Coronado Springs which is supposed to have a great club level and may be a bit cheaper but seems harder to get on discount—they have rooms that sleep 4 and a couple of suites that also sleep 4. AKL sleeps 4 in a room and has suites which will sleep more but unless you are really packing them in I think single rooms may be cheaper with a discount. YC rooms will sleep 4 although they may have limited suites (also may be more expensive than single rooms). BC is going to be set up about the same as YC although I’ve found it to be a hair more expensive overall. WL and BWI will have club deluxe rooms that sleep 6 (in addition to their standard rooms that sleep 5 for BWI and 4 for WL) but I’d probably go with at least a standard room and a deluxe if I were you. If you are trying to do club on a budget, the Magic Kingdom resorts are usually more expensive although they do all have suites so it really depends on how you want divide your party.

True, although I like a guarantee, that is a great option, I believe with a regular room? I forgot about that. They have a great CL too

Doesn’t Gran Destino also offer CL? I’ve never stayed there but I have read several positive reviews. It might not be full CL treatment like you would find at the deluxe resorts but it might be a more affordable alternative.

Yes, true, I need to consider that.

yes I have done C L at both and loved. Dates are of course not really something I can think of, though, ideally if go next year early June. As for stuff ing in a room, we are not stuffing. But if we had to do a combo of a suite with a room, or a bigger suite, or individual rooms, that really is the question, what is the best combo and where. All of us can do whatever and want the best price, but will pay the cost necessary to not make us all uncomfortable, but we can deal with some discomfort, if that makes any sense. This is a group that can most likely deal with whatever, as nobody is a newcomer to the group. My husband would like his own bedroom, but can share common areas, and anyone else can share, Or be apart. I know and they know that CL is more pricey, so will make allowances on that. If 2 rooms C L maybe? Or good suites

I will look and do math, but maybe someone has been through this kind of thing

I think WL and AKL are cheapest CL? We loved the AKL CL. I’d go with 2 rooms. The CL rooms are on the 4th floor Arusha views.

Yes, we loved it too. That would also be a good one to show the newbies (GFs).
Thanks for your input on 2 rooms, that may be perfect, I will check that out.

I appreciate the ideas.

Two sons and GFs stay in value resort. You and husband stay at a Deluxe resort with club level services. Easy.

Hard to tell if this is actually meant to be helpful or sarcastic, but I'll be optimistic and believe you intend well .

We want to vacation together, and i am willing to pay for what we want. Some ideas could be better than others and I also want to be financially responsible in going with the best option available.

We are staying value the first week, and doing CL the 2nd, so looking for those options. The girls haven't been or were very young, so we want them around.

Sorry if it was just meant to be funny. In which case, it is. I'm just a little salty probably because I've seen a lot on the boards.

But the AKL lounge is on the 6th floor, which makes it rather inconvenient.

Yeah, that would be okay though. I actually liked that anyway, the side staircase. That is a really nice resort. I move around a lot and love the excuse to get out of the room.

The CLs we've done and liked were AKL and WL, and I am open to new ones as well. BWI is one I especially would like to try sometime.

There are other resorts where rooms and lounge aren’t on same floor. Both CL lounges at GF, Poly too. I never found it an inconvenience to walk to the elevator.
