Best options for solo dining?

I'll be flying down a day early before the rest of my group arrives, so I have 24 hours to myself in Disney, which has never happened before! What are your favorite places / lounges to eat dinner solo?

Well, darn, no park just about put mine out. I will say just about anywhere you would eat with a group is fine to eat at solo. Even though you said no park, I love both Nomad Lounge and HBD Lounge. Nomad has indoor and outdoor seating, HBD only outdoor.

Most of my WDW trips are solo trips so I dine solo all of the time. I won't let dining solo define where I dine. I go to restaurants based on what I want to eat and not worry about dining solo. The best part of dining solo is that I go where I want to go and nowhere others want to go too.

Outside dining at the Boathouse - great view and food.

I like eating at the bars. Nomad is awesome. Outside the parks, Homecomin is great. Also like Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge and Ale & Compass at Yacht Club. I THINK you can order off the associated full service restaurants’ menus at alot of the bars but bar menus are good too

I've dined at many different restaurants and never felt bad dining alone.
Pick where you want, they will treat you well.

I've eaten at most every restaurant, and the only thing I didn't like was communal dining, but that would mostly be the luck of the draw-who you're sitting next to. In my case, it was a teenaged girl having her worst nightmare-a vacation with Mom and Dad at WDW, and now sitting next to a stranger. She acts like I had cooties, and at the end of the meal, I don't know who was more relieved to get out of there. Otherwise, in the park or out, Signature dining or not, lounges didn't thrill me, everywhere else was great.

Is there any place you have always wanted to try, but your companions didn’t? I go solo most of the time, and have never felt uncomfortable as a solo diner in any Disney restaurant. So if there is somewhere you have always wanted to try, go for it!
