Which TS listed below would you rate the best OOP value vs the DP (we have an extra TS ressie to pay for)?

San Angel Lunch @EPCOT
Sci Fi Dine In Lunch @HS
50's Prime Time Dinner @HS
Boma Breakfast @AKL
Wave Dinner @ CR

I've looked over the menus, but have only been to Boma and Prime Time...just asking my fellow DIS'ers opinions. Thanks!

I always pay for Sci-Fi when we have to pay for an extra, and it's one I pay OOP any trip over eating QS.

I would say Sci Fi as well. Many of their entrees aren't that much more than certain quick service offerings.

I 100% agree with the other posters. Sci-Fi is the best choice if paying OOP from those listed. I would go a step further and stick with burgers or sandwiches, fries, and maybe a milkshake to keep your expenses low. We enjoy Sci-Fi's whole experience, but the more expensive entrees are not terrific IMHO.

I think the other posters are right, sci Fi entrees are definitely the least expensive. I would take a quick look at the other (non-buffet) meals though and make sure the entrees will be the most appealing for your meal. if there's somewhere you'd rather cobble together a meal with appies, that might be the better choice for your group.

50's Prime Time - many of the entree portions are huge and can be shared.

Great minds think alike! I was thinking Sci Fi looking over the menu, prices, selection, etc., but have been to Prime Time and their portions are large.

More musings...our dinner at 50's PT is early, so I'm thinking we ought to have a full meal there as that skinny shrimp in my avatar can out eat a grown man when she's hungry/hangry. We tend to eat a bit later (after 6) also and may end up hungry when we get back to POP if we split/share there.

Thanks for the suggestions -- always good value here on the DIS for different persepectives. :-)

Sci Fi or 50's.

My mom and I shared the sampler at 50's last year, along with an app. The sampler was plenty and the app was good too. The sampler was $22 and was one of the pricier entrees, so definitely easy to do OOP.

To put another wrench into it. I might say San Angel because I wouldn't need to order (non-alcholoic) drink or dessert there.

You can also split it up. If someone wants one of the more expensive entrees at any of the cheaper places, let that person use a DDP credit, and the other adult can pay OOP for the cheaper entree. Then you still have a dessert to share. Then do the same at another of the a la carte places: one use DDP and one use OOP.

I'd go with Sci-Fi lunch as well. Good sandwiches (reuben), some like the burgers and appies in the same relative price range. Sci-Fi's $ dinner items (read steak and the ribs) aren't great quality for the price tag so not a good place to maximize your DP 1 signature TS credit. Good choice for out of pocket.

I think Boma breakfast is pretty good value OOP especially since it includes beverages. You can also get 10% off with your Disney Visa.
