Trying to talk friends into coming along, we will be onsite, but they prefer offsite bigger accomodations. In my research, I think

Marriott Cypress Harbour
Vistana Village
Oasis Lakes
Star ISland
Bonnet Creek

Any opinions or any resorts I should also have them consider?
I think they would like to keep it under 175.00 per night.

Thanks

go find some in RCI - then use

www.skyauction.com

if you find one that you like and is not really all that popular (which elimiated Sheraton Vistana and Orange Lake -which both get very high bidders) - then you can probably do it for around $300 for the entire week.

if you still want the II - here is their site - this is not an auction - you must pay their price

RCI and II are both exchange companies

from your list the Marriott Cypress Harbour is probably the best and should be on above - how flexibility are you about changing your time if needed?

Approximately how far in advance will inventory typically show up on skyauction?

generally around 6 months to 1 month.

some have been more than 6 months - a few have been a few days before.

So I can't say for sure.

On season is always harder to get - Christmas to NY, week before and Easter week, Thankgiving week, summer.

If you can get Bonnet Creek I would go for that. Its a brand new Fairfield resort that sits right next to Disney resorts pretty much on Disney property (but isnt somehow)
