Not sure if this is the right place to post but I am looking for off site sushi recommendations. Thanks!

Kimono @ The Swan has good sushi. Seito Sushi in Celebration has great sushi and a variety of Japanese dishes.

I agree with both suggestions. Also on my list to try one of these trips is Moon Fish which is on Sand Lake Rd. (near Whole Foods). :thumbsup2

I agree with all three great recommendations: Seito, Komono, Moon Fish. They're all better than anything you'll find onsite except the sushi at CaliGrille that Chef Yoshie once prepared (and has since departed). So not relevant. I can't speak for CG-AY (that means After Yoshie for you acronym nuts . . .yeah, I made that up, but you can take it) since we haven't been yet.

Moon Fish, in my opinion, is better than any seafood onsite as well.

I'll have to try Moon Fish! We almost always go to bluezoo but Moon Fish sounds great!

DD lives in Orlando and also recommends Bento Cafe on Sandlake for its sushi.

Let me clarify that I consider Bluezoo offsite even though it's onsite (due to those who use DDP). But Bluezoo is right there with Moonfish in terms of overall seafood.

The Bento Cafe is noted in my memory bank for next time. Thanks!

I had left off bluezoo because they don't serve sushi. The MoonFish menu looks very good and well worth trying!

DD is a CM and can't always afford a quality seafood meal so she waits until we visit! And being Japanese-American, it is hard for her to go without sushi and seafood for very long. She also recommends Hemingway's for seafood but I think MoonFish has more affordable pricing.

Even Chinese-Americans have the problem. :wave2: On our drive home from WDW to NJ, we usually stop in VA Beach just to visit our favorite Japanese-run sushi place.

And being from the coast in NJ, we usually just skip seafood all together when in Orlando, but I'm making note of the fine recommendations in this thread.

When DD comes back home to Central CA, we always go eat at our favorite Cantonese Restaurant. I think she has stopped searching for a Chinese restaurant in the Orlando area.
