Best offsite hotels for couple

I know you're looking for a hote, not a motel, but my husband and I took an anniversary trip a few years ago and stayed at the Candy Cane Inn. It's a very quant little place, easily walkable, surprisingly quiet and tucked away. We also let them know we were celebrating and the hotel left a sweet little goodie in our room, some kind of little cookies or something. I haven't stayed there, but I would also look into the Hyatt Regency, it is a little farther away though.
