A friend told me Marriott Orlando World Center. Anyone agree/disagree? thx.

I've heard that too.

We were there about 5 years ago. The pool area was big. It had a slide, jacuzzis, & water volleyball. Their slide was bigger than the one at AKL. We had a great time there.

The Hyatt Regendy Grand Cypress has a fantastic pool!with a small beach as well..

The Marriott does indeed have a great pool area, but so do the Caribe Royale, HIFS and the new (and quite excellent) Gaylord Palms. Then the Sheraton Safari, Wyndham Orlando (I-Drive) and Renaissance Resort are pretty good, too. But, for my money, both the Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific Resort are right up there with the very best.

Off site pools, my vote goes to:

Hyatt Grand Crypress
Marriot World Center
Caribe Royale Resort

The Hyatt closes it's pool early, either at 6:00 p.m. or sun down. Also their pool slide is not operational very often.

Don't know much about the Marriot pool operation.

The Caribe pool stays open past 10:00 p.m. and the slide opens at about 8:30 a.m.

Hyatt Grand Cypress has a wonderful pool.

I agree with the Caribe Royale. I don't think the Royal Pacific hotel at Universal has a slide. Hard Rock and Portofinio also have great pools.

My vote for best offsite pool would go to the Courtyard by Marriott at the Marriott Village in Lake Bryan. It has a walk-in pool and an indoor pool, and there's a "waterfall" between the two that you swim through to get from one to the other. Also a hot tub indoor and outdoor. There's a large courtyard around it, including tropical plants, plenty of tables/lounges, and a gazzebo where we had breakfast each morning.

Never been to the Orlando World Center, but they seem to a pile of pools.

Just returned from the Royal Pacific Hotel at universal. My kids absolutely loved the pool. It does not have a slide but has a large children's play area with water shooters, etc...
the bellhop said it was the largest lagoon pool in Orlando, but I don't know about the accuracy of that statement. My 8 year old son actually said he liked playing in the pool better than our trip to Blizzard Beach!!! The play area is probably better suited to kids under 10, but if you stay at a Universal Hotel, you have access to all hotel pools, including Hard Rock and Portofino Bay which have slides, and transportation by water taxi to the other pools.

I do not know about the Marriott but I have been to the Sheraton Safari. If you have children, they would love the Sheraton Safari pool. They have a 3 story snake slide - looks like lots of fun. :) The theming there is safari too and it is a nice hotel. The people there are friendly and the place is clean!!
