What is the best off site seafood restaurant between Universal and WDW? We (me, husband, sister) are looking for a delicious place to eat while the teens are doing Universal and Fright night (or whatever it's called). It will be a Saturday night, so we will probably have to make reservations the same day.

Thanks for alll suggestions!

Disboo,
Its not a seafood resteraunt but CHarlie's steakhouse is a great place to eat.....It does tend to get really packed around dinner so you might want to get there kinda early say 5:30 or 6:00....Its on I-Drive.....not sure where exactly but it is on I-Drive.....hope this helps..........

Thanks for the suggestion!

Any dynamite seafood restaurants?

We really enjoyed Joe's Crab Shack. It's right outside of the gate (down the street from The Crossings). They had lots of shrimp entrees less than $10. Plus, they make a killer Bahama Mama

We have had good luck with the Crab House which has a location on Internation drive as well as one close to DTD... We have also had good food both seafood as well as steaks at Fish Bones which is right off of I-Drive on Sand Lake Road.

Hi..sometimes too much advice can be confusing, but our favorite hands down is Shell's(shellsseafood.com)....great local favorite, with great Crab and fresh seafood...reasonable prices, cold beer and all the free salted in the shell peanuts you want...very informal....located 7 plus miles east of Disney on 192....green sign on the left....Enjoy...Ted

To keep you somewhat near Universal, try the Dr. Phillips area of Sand Lake Rd. There are several new restaurants there, Moon Fish, Bone Fish, Roy's etc. that all offer lovely seafood selections. The Melting Pot has a combination that includes seafood.

These restaurants are quite nice and reservations are strongly recommended.

For the beef lovers in the crowd, there is a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in the same area.

Have fun!

Has anyone tried this restaurant yet?

How dressy is it, and critique the food, if possible!!!

Thanks....

They are upscale and definately not a tshirt and shorts kind of place. All items are ala carte. Here is a link to their site. It gives locations and a menu. They are very good and pricy.

I went to the website, but it didn't give me the type of information that I was looking for.

Usually the website will reveal dress code, prices on the menu, reservation time frame.....

Also, DH is allergic to MSG, and that information isn't posted there either. So I e-mailed them- hopefully I'll get an answer in a timely fashion.

I appreciate it!
