Hi, My husband & I are in our early 50's & would like to know your suggestions for an off-site "neighbor" hotel. We would love to have a beautiful, quiet hotel, maybe with a view of one of the parks & in the $150-ish price range. We'll have our own car. We're also vegan if any of the hotels are especially good at catering to that request.

We really wanted to stay on site, but with all the policy changes (namely dog-friendly & room checks), we're leaning toward off-site now.

Thank you for any suggestions you may have!

As you have a car Try the Omni Hotel at Champions Gate

Just off Hwy 27 & Hwy I-4

Yes it is a 15 min Drive but it is in a lovely Quiet area , next to golf Courses & Shops ( 5 min drive )

you will not get a view of the park for 150 dollars! Just wondering what on site were you looking at.

You can sometimes get rooms at the Wyndham Grand at that pricepoint, but watch out for the taxes and resort fees. They have rooms with an excellent view of Hollywood Studios.

The Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort, a timeshare, also can be had for that pricepoint. You can get rooms with views of Hollywood Studios, Epcot or sometimes both. No views are guaranteed, however. You have to rent a reservation to get it at that pricepoint. There is thread about that resort called weloooooove bonnet creek.

That's extremely helpful! Thank you so much!

Holiday Inn Disney springs had positive reviews in tripadvisor and rooms with views of the parks and fireworks. Their breakfast gets rave reviews and they seem very accommodating. The pool looks relaxing and there is a pool bar. You can walk to Disney springs .

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs several times. It's my #2 choice for the Disney Springs Hotels. (I rate the DoubleTree Suites Lake Buena Vista slightly higher.) The staff at the Holiday Inn is great. Three times over the course of two different stays, I had a manager approach me as I waited in the lobby to ask if my stay was satisfactory.

That said, I wouldn't classify any of the Disney Springs Hotels as having park views. Some do have excellent views of Disney Springs, however.

As far as fireworks views go, they are not very impressive. Here is an image from the Hilton Buena Vista Palace. (I think that might be Magic Kingdom fireworks.)
