Best October Weekend?

DBF and I are moving out soon but already have enough (plus more) saved up for a semi big trip to go in October. I can only miss two days in school and I am out of school on Fridays so it would have to be a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and I'll miss school Monday. We will plan to leave early Friday and stay until about 6pm Monday at the parks. We can go any weekend in October. What weekend would be the best to go? Our favorites are SMGG and HMH so those must be finished by that time. TIA!

BTW, I love that picture of your girls! So cute. I first thought they were hanging out of the ride, but then I remembered there is a picture elephant.

Well, I like weekdays. But if I only had weekends - personally, I would avoid Halloween weekend. I would also avoid Columbus Day (Oct. 11th) weekend. Also, the first weekend could be a bit crowded since that's the first weekend with the Trick or Treat party.

So I guess that would leave the weekend of the 16th and 17th and the weekend of the 23rd 24th.
