Best (non-signature) Table Service Steak?

My steaks, and whole meal for that matter, at Rose & Crown and Coral Reef were just terrible.
I LOVE the mushroom filet at Le Cellier. Really love it.

I have to second the pp who said Mama Melrose, surprising but awesome.

Us too and the mac & cheese that went with it..OMG.

The dessert platter was also out of this world!

Kona Cafe and Teppan Edo have the best non-sig steaks, in my opinion.

I didn't love the filet at Le Cellier-I found it to be way too salty.....actually, I felt the entire meal there was way too salty.

Another vote for Kona - great steak, reasonably priced.

My husband said the best one he had was the filet at the Brown Derby. He ate steak & filet at almost every meal and raved about the Derby's filet. I really liked Le Cellier's filet and mushroom risotto.

Brown Derby is a "Signature" restaurant. I would have to agree with Kona.
