Best Non-Park Restaurant for 8+infant

Taking a family trip in July - 8 + infant - 2 13 yr olds, 4 20 somethings and 2 40 somethings. Want to eat one sit down meal together. Needs to be a non-park as one of us will not be going to the parks and not a buffet. We will be staying at AKV Kidani and would like to visit either DTD or another resort. We will have a car for transpotration. Not on the dining plan. Suggestions?

I would go to either Ohana's at the Polynesian or Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

Those are great suggestions but we would prefer something that does not have a fixed orice menu. Trying to save a little money. We have been to both and really enjoyed them but not with 8 people - that would break the bank for us.

WCC's menu isn't fixed price. Yes, you can get the skillet, but that's not the only thing on the menu.

How about Raglan Road in DTD PI. It is not a fixed price menu, and the entrees are not as expensive as many other TS options. We enjoyed it there very much. The food was good and the atmosphere is lots of fun. I think the ages of your group would appreciate it a lot. There is an Irish band and an Irish Step Dancer in the evening and it makes for a fun time.
BTW, when you make your ADR's you will be a party of 9. The infant is included in the total count.

Have you thought about maybe doing Trex cafe in downtown disney? It has a pretty good menu, everyone in your group will be able to find something they like. They are affiliated with Landry's restaraunts (rainforest cafe is too) and you can find coupons for them sometimes online. We took DD 7 and DS 1 there last year, along with 3 other 20-somethings plus DH and I (also 20-somethings). We really enjoyed our meal there, and we have booked a meal there for our upcoming meal in March.
