We're headed down the week before Easter, and order much of our food through Garden Grocer. But we do like to take in at least one fun dinner out while we're there.

I know the crowds will be crazy that week, and expect that it may affect food quality. I was just looking for recommendations on where we might enjoy some good food and the kids some good atmosphere.

(The reason I'm asking for non-park restaurants is because we don't do the park hoppers yet, and I don't want to back us into a corner by committing to any particular park on a given day just because we have ressies there that night. Does that even make sense?) :-)

Thanks for the recs! Can't wait to start researching to find out what our options are!

Downtown Disney; T-Rex! My friends just got back from there with a 2 year old and a 4 year old and they loved it.

Second one - same family - Whispering Canyon at WL. Their daughters were good sports, so they got picked for everything! If you go, don't forget to ask for ketchup - and see what happens!

If you have girls - dinner at 1900 Park Fare is great (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Druscilla). Its in the Grand Floridian

Another one my kids like is Chef Mickeys (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto & Goofy) in the Contempory.

O'Hana at the Polynesian is another family favorite.

If you want something at DTD, I'd go for TRex...definately! Be sure to stop at Goofy's candy co. for their make your own treats, for dessert!!!

If a resort is what you're looking for, I'd go with Chef Mickey's 200%!!!
