I want to make a breakfast ADR for a non-park day. DH prefers a buffet, but I don't care one way or the other. Our kids are teens, so characters are okay, but not a must. We really just want good food and atmosphere.

I was thinking about Fresh at the Dolphin. We ate there about 3 years ago after it first opened and really enjoyed it. Is it still good?

I think I've heard good things about Olivia's? We've done Kona Cafe and liked it.

Where's YOUR favorite breakfast?

Cape May breakfast buffet is out of this world, there is a ton of food choices and alot of great fresh fruit....Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale are decked out in their bathing suits too.

Another must do for us is Kona...pressed pot coffee and tonga toast are incredible!

There's also Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary and 'Ohana at the Polynesian, both character meals. Then you have Trail's End Buffet at Fort Wilderness which is the best value on property, $11.99 for Adult $7.99 for Children 3-9.

Hope this helps!!

Spoodles has a great breakfast menu including an all you can eat platter!:thumbsup2

but Fresh is pretty darn good. So is Garden Grove which is at the Swan. The eggs at both places are cooked to order, so you don't have to eat eggs that have been sitting under a lamp. Other good non-park (but no characters) breakfasts are Kona Cafe (Poly) and Boatwrights (POR). We've never tried Crystal Palace but we're going to this trip - I hear it's excellent and it does indeed have characters. If I'm not mistaken, it's Pooh characters.

Enjoy!

The Galley at the Yacht Club has a nice breakfast with ala carte offerings and a very nice buffet... the decor is lovely and it is usually a quiet morning breakfast..

Thanks for all the replies.

I checked the menus and Fresh looks wonderful, but unfortunately it's not on the dining plan (is it?).

We discussed it and decided to go with Kona Cafe, but will definitely try Yacht Club Galley next time!

I loved, loved, loved my breakfast at Boatwright's last trip. But it's a bit out of the way unless you're staying at POR or POFQ.
