Best NON-Disney Pizza?

Here's another vote for Flipper's Pizza. There are 3 locations. We drive, so I don't know about delivery. It is a must-do for our family.

agree that hungry howies is awful but i think it was a bit harsh on cici's, for the price the good choice and the cleanliness can't be beaten. but if you want a more upmarket style flippers or pappa johns are o,k.

They were very good, and we are really picky about our pizza. The delivery was fast and friendly. The only thing I could not understand--is I think they charged us a delivery fee of like 50 cents on everything we ordered-still a VERY economical meal, but I didn't get what they charged us as opposed to the prices the menu listed. I thought maybe I had an old menu, but no--it was the same one they left with the delivery. We actually ordered from them twice on our last trip.

We've always ordered from Giordanos with delivery to Old Key West and never had a problem with them delivering.

Love Giordanos in chicago had it deliverd to my room at Caribean beach took a little longer than I would have liked but I bet they had a hard time finding my room as well

We ended up having Giordano's during our visit, and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend trying them. It was SO much better than Disney pizza. Here's their website where you can get a menu:

I'm sure all your suggestions are great...but I truely wish all the world's pizza could come from NY (actually the best pizza I have had was in Hoboken, NJ...my parents recently were at Pepe's pizza in New Haven, CT and said THAT was the best, and my Dad grew up in Brooklyn!!!).

Anyway, I know many people love deep dish or even California flat bread-type...but just my humble opinion, there is nothing like a true, authentic, NY-style pie!!

I have to admit I have given up on Florida Pizza...

We are planning to try Giordano's this year when we go. We have it planned for the day we do our hot air balloon ride/beach day. We will stop there on our way home.

I have to admit I have given up on Florida Pizza...

Before you completely give up on pizza in Orlando, try Giordano's. We're "NY Style" pizza people, too, but we were bold and tried Giordanos. We did NOT get the deep dish (though I'm sure it is wonderful). We got their thin crust, and it was incredible. We also got a chicken parmesian sandwich which was out of this world!

Our next trip will be in March, and we'll definitely be ordering from Giordano's!
