We are hoping to visit Universal for 2 days in October (one day for each park, not planning on getting hoppers). We will be staying at the AKV at Disney since we are DVC owners from 10/15-10/22. Which days would work best for Universal that week? We are pretty flexible except for Wednesday (Food and Wine fest plans that day). We can go on non-consecutive days too so that doesn't really matter.

DS5 is 48" tall so he can ride a lot of the bigger rides. And of course we want to see Harry Potter as well since I am a big fan. I wasn't sure if Universals Halloween parties affected the parks similar to the "party effect" in the Magic Kingdom? We haven't been to Universal in 4 years, so I am sure there are a lot of changes. Any advice is appreciated!!!

I would say Monday and Tuesday of that week, not only are they normally the slowest days anyway, but those are the two days during your vacation Halloween Horror Nights is not put on, so that should help with crowds a bit. :thumbsup2

::yes::

Thanks! That works fine with our schedule (or lack there of). I am thinking it would probably be better to do the Studio on Monday and IOA on Tuesday? Or would it be better to do the opposite?

My mom has never been, and DS doesn't remember (as he was 18 months) so I think it might be a good idea to do IOA our second day and ease into the HP madness?

I don't think it will really matter during October. I would do what works for your schedule.
