I am trying to set up our REAS with Palo. However, we are not sure what night is best to miss the show. We will have a 2 and 3 year old DDs and want to make sure we don't miss the show they would like the most. Any suggestions?
TIA

You'll get a lot of different answers to this one I'm sure! It's probably a very personal choice. We skipped the Who Wants to be a Mousketeer show for Palo's and feel it was a wise choice for us. The kids (and I) really enjoyed the "productions" and weren't that interested in the audience participation thing. I know they would have had a good time anyway but they didn't want to go when we were in Palo's so they "partied" in the room with room service and nonstop Disney movies.

With the kids you can definitely miss the WWTBAM show. The Golden Mickey's, Twice Charmed & Disney Dreams will be very colorful & probably interesting for them with all the characters. The first night would be OK to miss the show but if you have AP for your first rotation you would miss the light show, and your kids wouldn't be adjusted to Flounders. Pirate night is fun but there is only a movie shown, not a show. If you book Palo to be out by 9:45 you can pick the kids up & go to the deck party...if they are still awake. :) If not, leave them at Flounders to sleep & enjoy yourselves. :)

Dreams, Golden Mickeys, and Twice Charmed/Hercules (still on the Wonder, right?) are not to be missed. We skipped WWTBAM. Also skipped the couple of variety shows they offer. The other consideration is what menu/dining experience to miss--don't miss the AP light show, but for example, we didn't care for the Pirate night menu's food choices as much as we enjoyed other menus, so that was the night we went to Palo.

We didn't have to miss any shows to have dinner at Palo. For our last cruise, we scheduled Palo dinner on formal night (so we do not have to dress up again. We made sure the kids were fed from room service/Plutos before we got dressed. The at 6 pm we watched Golden Mickeys, after which we lined up to get portraits taken at three different backgrounds, then we had the kids change to casual clothes and dropped them off at the Lab/Club. Then at 8:30 we proceeded to Palo to have dinner.

I don't think you know your dining rotation until you board since they make them out just a few days ahead of time. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

That is part of my problem, I'd like to do Palos during the WWTBAM but afraid I'll miss AP.

I think I am going to book Palo Pirates night since there really isn't a "show" and my 3 year old could go to the PJ party then get out just in time to attend the pirate festivites at 9:45ish. Just hope Flounders will be available too.

Thanks for all the advice. This board really helps so much!

You'll only know your dining rotation when you get your KTTW card on check-in day. It's written like LAPLAPL (meaning Lumiere's-Animators-Parrot Cay, etc).
