THINKING OF GOING OCTOBER 29,30 OR 31ST. WHICH NIGHT WOULD BE BEST? ANYONE GO LAST YEAR?

Those days will be packed and probably a sellout. I went last year on the first night. The crowds were moderate. I went one year on October 29 and it was wall-to-wall people.

DO NOT GO ON THOSE DAYS!!!!!!! It will be HELL in the park at that time. Lines will run long, really long. The shortest line we waited on was one hr, the longest line that we saw was 2 and a half hours!! We got off the line because of this. All in all, we only did 2 and a half of all the mazes there that night. This was partially because of MIB though. WE made the mistake of waitng on line for this for 2 and a half hours. It waisted alot of time. It will be a mistake to go at this time. This year we are going a different time, and for two days, just in case.

When do you suggest to go?Would the earlier dates be less crowded?I am on holiday from October 17th,should I go asap?

Thanks Karen <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

The earlier in the month you go, the better. Also, any day besides Friday and Saturday are less busy.

Of the days you listed shoot for the 31st if it is not on a friday or saturday. The first weekend, or any weeknight early in the month is least crowded. I attended on the 28th last year as well as the 6th and 7th. The 28th was packed, the 7th was crowded, and the 6th wasn't bad at all. Halloween is actually less crowded than many expect.

One other thing, We went three times last year, and if you're in the parks before it starts, You get about a 20 to 30 min. to do some attractions before everyone else. The park would be closing, you show your pass, they put a wristband or something on you, and they herd you over to the fenced off Kong area. We had dinner at finnegans, and when they opened we had first dibs on everything. Don't do a Sat. What a mad house. The lines for drinks were even long.

I attended on October 30th this past year and it was crowded but I managed to see most attractions. I opted for this date so that I could go out in costume on October 31st.
