Best movie endings....

I love "they lived happily ever after" kind of stories, so my absolute favorite is The Princess Bride. It's a great movie, and the ending is so perfect.

Sleepless in Seattle is great, too.

There's a Mel Gibson movie that I forget the name of from the early 90's in which he wakes up in the 90's after being frozen for several decades...the movie isn't incredible but the ending is so sweet.

I really liked the ending for Pirates of the Caribbean.

A Beautiful Mind had a good ending, but that movie made me feel so stupid, lol. I was still confused when I walked out of the theatre.

A Few Good Men left me staring at the credits in utter awe for 10 minutes afterward....hairs on the back of my neck standing up.

Se7en's ending was awesome. It actually caused me to shout "OH MY GOD" at the screen when he opened the box.

Jerry McGuire's "you had me at hello" was probably the only movie that caused me to shed a tear at the end.

Pulp Fiction with Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta strutting off into the morning after having handled a restaurant robbery gone awry in their borrowed clothes was a great end to one of the best movies ever made.

the chase another spielberg film (actually, i think the first) no talking, but the truck going over shows triumph

Great Thread! I will have to see some of these movies.

I love Shawshank Redemption...my favorite movie.

Other that have not been mentioned:
* The Game with Michael Douglas. This movie is awesome!! If you have not seen it, rent it! It is a very cool movie to watch at least 2x.

* The Score w/ Ed Norton and Robert Deniro. Great ending.
