Best moderate resort?

We like CSR. We have also stayed at POFQ and it was nice, but felt too closed-in to me. The buildings seemed so close together. I like CSR because it's spacious and feels like a retreat in the middle of the World.

We think the food is great at Pepper Market, can't wait to try Rix Cafe for quick sandwiches and breakfast pastries!

For us it's POFQ/POR edging out CSR (we have stayed at these 3 the majority of the time) and then CBR.

 Hi everyone,

It is our 1st time to CBR, any suggestions, advice, tips, etc....
Anything would help!!! :) Will be visiting with DH, DD6, DD5....

You'll love it! :thumbsup2 Just enjoy the quietness and peacefulness of CBR after a long day at the parks. Take your kid's sand toys and they can play on the white sand beaches while you and DH relax in a hammock! :cloud9: Make sure to take a walk (or several walks) across the bridge and island and enjoy the views and the Caribbean music!

Is there a small market in CBR such as the one in CSR? I have been to CSR

Many thanks,

Yes, there are 2 shops, Calypso Trading Post and Calypso Straw Market.

Plus, if you get your kids the chicken nuggets meal at the food court it comes in a sand bucket with a shovel!

Don't be afraid to try CBR, I would (and am) go back to CBR any day over the other mods I've tried!

Here's a great thread with a lot of useful CBR info:

Just make sure you don't end up in Trinidad South. CBR is humongous and getting to the store will seem like another resort.

CSR is our family favorite. Kids love the pool, slide, playground and snack bar. We also love the food choices at the Pepper Market.

I have been to CBR, POR and CSR, and our favorite resort is CBR, we just love the theming at this resort. POR comes very close with there food court love the make your own salad and pasta. Just did not like the theming at CSR. IMO CM were great at all 3 resorts, buses are about the same at all 3 resorts. I think your choice is a matter of what you like in theming.

I will be going back to CBR next time we visit unless I have more money and then I would like to try the Poly, or maybe Old Key West.

We love CSR! They have the best pool, transportation and food!:thumbsup2
