Best MK rides for almost 3 year old

Going to MK for sons 3rd birthday (and btw.. if you are cancelling a Chef Mickey ADR for dinner 5/17 let me know) what are the best attractions and rides? He is not a dare devil but any means.

Our 2.5 year old enjoyed everything we took him on, except for the Barnstormer. He couldn't hold himself up well when it started and was sliding down. I had to hold him up and I think that scared him. We didn't bring him on Pirates or Haunted Mansion, but his 4yo brother enjoyed both. He rode pretty much everything else in MK that he could ride. I would guess that his favorites were dumbo, carpets and the train.

I would say Peter Pan, Adventures of Pooh, Little Mermaid Journey, Dumbo (not Astro Orbiter, it goes CRAZY high), Pirates (if it's open), Jungle Cruise (jokes will go over his head, but it's a great ride), Small World, and Mickey's Philharmagic (my boys LOVED it). Most little boys like the speedway, but it's full of exhaust fumes and doesn't do much for us.

What everyone else said, depending on how tall he is I would try the Barnstormer. My son loved it at that age. We also are big fans of the Speedway, my son and DH ride it several times every trip. He may even be able to drive depending on his height. My little boy loves cars so it was perfect. My kids also really like the Tea Cups, I don't spin the car or anything anymore than just riding the ride and they giggle all crazy. Have fun - it's a great age!

My son was 2 for his first trip and I think he rode everything he was tall enough to ride. He loved the HM once we got on, but the dark expanding room really scared him. If you ask a CM when you enter HM, they will let you skip the scary part of the queue and take you around. My kids never found the ride to be as scary as the queue.
