I'm hoping to get an early reservation 3:30ish before MVMCP at MK. Where would you suggest we eat with two pre-schoolers? I guess it doesn't HAVE to be at MK, but I think that would be most convenient.

I think your best bet will be the Crystal Palace.

They serve at the time you're looking for and it is a character meal!

It is in MK as well.

Have a great trip!:wizard:

Crystal Palace without a doubt. The kids can see Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet and eat at the same time.

A 3rd vote for CP. We ate there last year before the P&P party and it is the one place DD requested to eat at again this year. Great characters and great buffet variety for everyone.:thumbsup2

Different choice: Liberty Tree Tavern.
It is ending the characters soon, so it will be one of the last chances to see them there.
They bring the food right to the table, so no buffet runs with the little ones.
And we love it :)

I have to jump on the CP band wagon. We eat there every year and the kids ages 2- 12 all still love the characters and the food.:thumbsup2

I’ve eaten at CP on my last two trips and loved it. The food is very good, so unlike CRT you don’t have to sacrifice food for the entertainment. The character interaction is also very good and there are healthy and not so healthy choices depending on your preference.

Crystal Palace!! The atmosphere is calm and very light inside. It's quite pretty. It has lots of choices on the buffet, which isn't always a first choice for little ones. You can't beat Pooh bear and friends. My dd's really enjoyed this meal and we were 8 and 11 our last trip. (we are going back for breakfast this year). We have done LTT and my dd's enjoyed the characters, but not the food. I'd stick with Crystal Palace for that age.

I have to respectfully disagree with the Crystal Palace Votes. We attempted this meal with our DS3 - had a 4:45pm ADR, were there at 4:35, and were not seated until after 5:30! This was in "slow season" too - early December! We found the restaurant crowded, and our server was inattentive or overworked, further adding to our angst. To add insult to injury, we had to wait over an hour to finally see Pooh - he somehow missed our section. I just wouldn't do this restaurant again. Liberty Tree Tavern was wonderful, or you could hop on the monorail and eat dinner at 1900 Park Fair or Chef Mickey's.

Ouch!:headache: That's a long time to wait! We were seated on time for our 4:00 dinner and this was a P&P party night during free dining.:confused3

OP- While I would agree that the other character meals are good choices as well, they won't work for eating at 3:30 because they don't open for dinner until 5. (LTT is open for lunch, but not characters if that matters to you.) If you want a simpler meal (sandwiches, burgers, but sit down) I would suggest the Plaza.
