Any advice on the best place to meet Minnie Mouse for our Minnie fanatic DD? By best i mean good experience and least busy!TIA :) x

We saw Minnie a lot! Best place was DHS in the Animation building. That is also were the incredible and Wreck it Ralph are.

She's not in her traditional garb, but I loved and had a great experience with the Minnie in the circus tent in Storybook Circus. She was very interactive and took a long time with us (and we were three adult women...) She made a huge deal out of my friend's new engagement ring and it was pretty hilarious. The entire thing is indoors with air conditioning :)

We had a few meets with Minnie over a quick trip in June - my two favorite were at Cape May character breakfast and the Character Spot at EPCOT! We also met her at the Storybook Circus tent but it felt rushed. In August I plan to meet her at DHS in her new area, excited for that!

My favorite spot was at the Disney Visa meet and greet. Of course it is random who you will see, but it is the best character interaction I have had anywhere.

The Character Spot at EPCOT is, IMO, the best place to meet her. She is in her traditional clothing. And btw, you can book a FP+ for the CS M&G!

agreed. especially if you go in the extra hours. No one is in there, and its her along with several others, usually dancing or playing. It was a very unique experience

I'd say Character Spot. Our photos with the kids turned out great with her there. However, she was very interactive with our three boys at Chef Mickey's...turning my tween son bright red with a kiss on the head :)

We did the Animation Building in May. She was great there, no rush and about only 10 of us in line. Oh and her outfit & the backdrop was cute.

I agree. Last time we walked into the building and no one was there but the characters/photographers. Minnie took my scarf off and put it on herself and then wrapped both of us up in it. It was so cute.

I also would go with Epcot Character Spot and you can probably get in with out a FP and with a shorter wait. We went in the middle of a very busy day (somewhere between 3 and 5pm) and there was only two families ahead of us and nobody behind us. I'm sure it's not always quite that slow in there, but chances are you can find a wait under 15mins if you keep an eye on things.

My favorite Minnie was at characterpalooza in HS. Very responsive to her environment and as sweet as can be to guests.

The worst was at the Character Spot at Epcot. When she met me she awkwardly shook my hand. I guess I can picture that with the male characters. For Minnie, I expect a hug.

Minnie at Character Spot at EPCOT was one of my best meets this year - I was wearing my Imagination Movers concert tour T-shirt, and Minnie LOVED it, she was pointing and clapping and doing a little "Movers"-esque dance. Who knew Minnie was a Movers fan? ;) I was there at a low crowd time in February, but there was hardly any line even for standby in the late afternoon.

Another vote for Character Spot at EPCOT. My profile pic is at that location from our last trip! My daughter rushed through Mickey, bypassed Goofy all together, and ran to Minnie and received huge hugs and multiple kisses from her idol. It was wonderful. We went about 8pm. No line and we spent about 10 minutes with her, taking lots of pictures. Goofy kept creeping over since he was totally ignored by my daughter- so funny. Minnie made a big deal about my daughter's Minnie shirt. It was a lovely experience.

Thanks so much everyone for your opinions.Reading the responses has made me sooo excited to see my DD's face when she finally gets to meet her idol!:yay:

We had the best interactions with her at Cape May breakfast. She really visited for a while and came back a few times.

Do you have a Chase Disney Visa? If not, I'd try to apply for one. You get a special character experience in Epcot. We've found Minnie there a lot (no guarantees).

Sadly we are from the UK so no Disney Visa for us  and we have been trying to bag a Cape May ressie but I think its too late. We originally booked Tusker House because i stupidly thought Minnie was there!:sad2: Will keep trying Cape May though and if not do the M&G in one of the parks. Thanks :thumbsup2

I must have just had the fluke experience at Character Spot. It was the last Minnie we met so perhaps I had higher expectations at that point. Mickey was a little off there as well. Goofy was great though!

I agree pete's silly sideshow minnie was the best for us too! We saw her a few times last month about an hour before wishes and didn't wait long at all and all the characters there were the best as far as time spent with you and each one was so fun! I really like the theming of the sideshow too...the characters costumes are great!

My dd was 4 and has the best experience at chef mickeys. She had on yellow Minnie heels and I have the best photo of the, comparing shoes!
