DH and DD have this conversation every time we go to the World.

In the beginning it was Whispering Canyons but then they tried 50's Prime Time Cafe's and agreed, hands down, theirs was the best.

These are not Table Service locations but I thought the Milkshakes at Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop in Downtown Disney Marketplace and Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas were very good.

I'd suggest the Dolphin Fountain (in the Dolphin hotel).

Whispering Canyon has the only refillable milkshake I've ever seen. And it's good enough to be worth refilling.

Is there really such a thing as a bad milkshake?

I'd say they're all pretty good... I just have a slight overriding fondness for 50s Prime Time because I like peanut butter, and they'll do Chocolate PB or PB&J shakes there... and the Sci Fi cookies & cream one had quite a bit of yummy cookie pieces... though bottomless shakes at Whispering Canyon are hard to ignore... see what I mean? The more I think, the more I drool across this keyboard... just get a shake whenever you can!

The PB&J milkshakes at 50's PTC are yummy. I haven't had them myself, but my son had both a strawberry and chocolate shake at WCC and both looked tasty.

Sci Fi! They made the chocolate one how I like it - vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. Beaches & Cream made their chocolate shake with chocolate ice cream and maybe chocolate sauce too, but I don't like chocolate ice cream so I wasn't a fan.

We were disappointed in the Whispering Canyon shakes. They were the pre-made, very thick McDonald's type shakes. They were all vanilla and then the kind of flavoring you want was added in. They added in chocolate sauce for mine, and it wasn't mixed when I got it. This kind makes sense for here though, since they are bottomless.

Hands down the best ice cream and soft serve ice cream on property. Yum!!
