Best method for purchasing Disneyland tickets?

DL is having a special on Park Hopper tickets right now, so the source might be your best place to start. Not sure if outlets like CAA would sell the tickets for this same price right now for visits through Oct 1, 2011.

Last time I checked, Canadian Citizens could get 8 day Park Hoppers on FlightCentre for LESS than we can get 5 day PH's. Good for you guys, but a total bummer for us!

Click on Park Tickets. They are a bit cheaper than the current deals at the official DL site. Do those disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets prices include taxes and fees? Does flightcentre have any extra fees or charges they add on when you buy? (I've never used them.)
The reason the differences are not as big as some think is that I think some people forget that the Canadian dollar is trading above the US dollar right now, so US246 at Disney = CDN233 for an adult 5-day Park Hopper. CDN208 at flightcentre for that adult 5-day PH. Yay for $25 saved per adult!
I'll have to remember this next year. I thought these Canuck specials would have ended with the at-par dollar, but I guess they still are willing to make a special effort to lure us in. ;-)

Hello fellow Canadian!! We purchased our 7day park hoppers through our travel agent in Edmonton. You may want to check out a travel agent in your area. We paid $197.00 each for ours for our trip in July. Have a magical trip!

We just purchased our tickets for our September trip this past week.

3-day Park Hopper with bonus ticket:
- Disneyland.com = 199 USD/person
- The Disney Store = doesn't sell DL, only WDW
- Ontario CAA = doesn't sell DL, only WDW
- Flight Centre = 176 CAD/person

I'm in Ontario, as I'm guessing Torontogal is, and what I've been told is WDW is available because it's the more logical destination for people from our province. The Disney Store used to sell them but recently stopped so call ahead (we drove over an hour to one ).

Also, I'm not sure if it's different online, but Flight Centre's price was all there is. No extra fees or anything. The price was listed as 'including taxes and fees'. I saw it listed as 179 in their book but it was charged as 176.

Hope this helps. I'd suggest going into a Flight Centre since there's so many of them in the major malls (which I didn't know) and then you won't have any processing fees and can ask all the questions you want.

It's flight center and its not even close. For the price you paid for the 4 day hoppers you could have spent a bit more and had like 7 or 8 days( I think it was less then 20 more).

8 days seems like a lot but if you are down there for like 10 days and you do other parks, you can still go to disneyland at night.

It's Flight Centre, for sure, but I didn't see anyone who bought 4 day passes post.

We are there only for three days so that's the max we could buy without wasting days on a ticket that we can't transfer or opt for no expiry on.

Another option to consider, if you go to WDW a lot, is to see if you have days left on WDW tickets that don't expire. You can exchange days on a WDW ticket at the gate at DL (not vice versa). If I'd known that, I'd have added a few more days on our WDW tickets, got no expiry, and used them since the price per day goes down the more you buy. Just a thought if you happen to have a good deal on WDW tickets (or extra days lying around on old tickets).
