Best Martini in the World

Here's another girly-drink-served-in-a-martini-glass you need to try ... any of the Cotton-tinis at TRex. They bring a martini glass with cotton candy in it to the table. Then the server shakes the drink in a plastic TRex shaker (that you get to keep) and pours it over the cotton candy. I know it sounds overly sweet, which is what I was afraid of, but it's not. It was de-lish!!

I ordered that too! And it was yummy, and bonus points for getting to keep the Trex cup:thumbsup2

oh yes the Glowtini! My faV.
So hoping they continued it beyond the YOAMD. Found them at Le Cellier, Kona Cafe, Rose & Crown.

Now the cotton-tini sounds interesting. Putting that on my 'to-do' list.

Here is another "Cheers" for the GLO-TINI. YumMY!

There is a wonderful bar at the Contemporary Resort that make delectable dry Bombay Saphire Gin Martinis straight up. Just be careful, more than 2 will rock you!
Perfect one at Mizners, two at Contermpory...back to the Poly...I not driving my monorail is.:rolleyes1

RockStar Martini at the Tambu Lounge in the Poly. :thumbsup2

Tastes pretty good, but it gives you a nice kick of energy to keep you going for the rest of the night!:rotfl2:

Caramel Apple Martini at the Brown Derby, very good.

Now that doesn't look like a girl holding that girly drink at all.... :cool1:

You don't have to be a girl to drink that. Actually my favorite martini is a good dirty martini. I love me some olives.

If you're a traditionalist (shades of James Bond, the original) you gotta go for a dry, Beefeater martini - up. . . olives or onions on the side please. . . they just take up too much room!

James Bond drinks vodka martinis!

That sounds more like Hawkeye Pierce.

TDC Nala,

You'll note I said, "James Bond, the original". In films he prefers Smirnoff vodka martinis. However, in the "original" novels, he plans to drink three Beefeater martinis in the short story "007 in New York" and in "The Man with the Golden Gun" he has a pink gin made with Beefeater. In either case, I can't fault him as both brands are my drinks of choice as well.

Maytag Martini at bluezoo (my hubby is still talking about this one):

Also good but I don't have pictures handy ... French Martini at CA Grill, Pomegranate Martini at Narcoossee's, Ice Wine Martini (got the idea from Le Cellier but I don't know if they still offer it).

If you like the sweet ones, you'll love the grey goose lemon slushie in France/Epcot, though not technically a martini...it is served in a martini glass & the French martini which I always order at CG, but you could probably get anywhere...vodka, chambord & pineapple juice....yummo! ;)

Onion would of course make a gibson - another "not a martini" - though granted - at least a gibson is almost a martini as opposed to appletini's - which are really yummy, but the only thing they have in common with a martini is the glass they are served in - and a martini shaker - should you be such a philistine as to shake your martini's instead of stir them. ;)
