Best lunches at US and OIA?

What are the best counter service places to eat at Universal? I'm thinking lunch and preferrably not too expensive!! We are a family of four with the two "kids" being teens, so we don't have too many dislikes.

And than, what is the best counter service places to eat at IoA?

Pizza at Louie's @ the Studios

Comic Strip Cafe at IOA has good selection too. Burgers, chicken, pasta, pizza, chinese...

And, before Metro comes along...we all agree Thunder Falls at IOA is good too.

Those are CS and relatively inexpensive.

My favourite is Boulangerie right at the front of Universal Studios. They make excellent sandwiches with a little bit of salad on the side and some fruit.

They also have wonderful desserts.

Thunder Falls is one of the best places in the parks to have lunch.

The chicken wrap is lovely, very fresh. In fact anything we have had from there has been delicious. And I do think we`ve tried everything

Don`t think I`ve had counter service in US but we have had the nicest cakes from the place beside Lombards, think it may be The San Francisco something or other. Highly recommended

I love burger digs at IOA. They have a topping bar for your burgers and by the time we get to this park (since we do disney first) I start craving vegetables so I pack on the lettuce and tomatoes and onions and pickles. They also have grilled chicken sandwiches.

Croissant Moon Bakery at IOA is very good. Nice sandwiches, salads and soups. And GREAT desserts!

Both bakeries have good croissant sandwiches. Schwab's Pharmacy for a turkey sandwich and a hot fudge sundae. Cafe La Bamba for their chicken. Thunder Falls - good food and atmosphere. Love the beans and chicken. My husband likes Richter's for a burger. Oh! and The Midway Grill for a Nathans Dog and fries. Yum!

I know this is about counter service lunches at IOA/US but one of the cheapest and fastest alternatives for lunch is the volcano nachos at Margaritaville. One humongous platter easily feeds 3 adults for lunch.

We do this at least once a trip. They are SO good!
