Best lunches at US and OIA?

I'll agree w/ the nachos at Mville and the hot dog from Nathan's....but, I must throw out a "yuck" for Richter's.

Many people here don't recommend it and one year my son REALLY REALLY wanted to try it. So with my hesitation, we did.

Now, I understand there are MANY people who like Richters...but I have to agree w/ the majority of the others here on that one... yuck.

My husband wondered what he was eating. I told him a cheeseburger. He said he thought so, but it didn't taste like beef! :confused3

Like I said, there are many who DO like it, but most don't recommend it.

I'd go with the other places recommended here before I try Richters.

I know this is about counter service lunches at IOA/US but one of the cheapest and fastest alternatives for lunch is the volcano nachos at Margaritaville. One humongous platter easily feeds 3 adults for lunch.

Sorry for my ignorance but is Margaritaville in US/IOA?

margaritaville is in City Walk. City Walk has IOA at one end of it and Universal Studios at the other end. City Walk has many restaurants! :)

Thanks! Are the prices for meals there reasonable? I'm just trying to find some "cheaper" alternatives for my family for eating arrangements while at the parks.

OIA has tons of options when it comes to sit down restaurants and fast food. When you first enter you'll find everything from Panda express to Crispy Cream. Some of the sit downs include Chilis and Macoroni Grill

Buffy
She was talking about IOA not OIA. ;)

Uh...there's no Crispy Kreme, Chili's or Macaroni Grill at IOA? :confused3
Now you know better than that!

I think the PP got confused by the thread title. The OP was talking about IOA but misspelled. Either that or we're all confused now.

Is the poster talking about the airport? Orlando International Airport? OIA? We always call it MCO.
MCO is the official code but those of who are locals call it OIA. It's a little thing we do. ;)

Aren't most of burger places same patties in both parks?
Always liked Burger Digs around brunchtime in IOA. Bread & condiment bar was always good & fresh.
Sleep in, ride Hulk & Spidey & Doom, hit Burger Digs 10:45-11:00 ish for late breakfast.... if that kinda food is appealing then.
Love the serenity out on that balcony. Great view too.

I'm blonde and can use the 'confused' plea :thumbsup2

as for the whole mco/oia thing...we go by 'mco' because that's what my luggage tag sez when I fly there

You're not kidding! It's a monster size order.
