I will be staying at Carribean Beach resort for the first time and have just found out how large it is, we will only be staying 2 nights and doing Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom, so my question is which area and or building should I request so that I am sort of in between the bus location and the skyliner? Also I saw that these buses can be very full in the morning so should we drive to Magic Kingdom instead of taking the bus, we plan on using the early entry and want to get the most out of our time. i appreciate any and all recommendations its been over 10 years since we've been.

It’s also worth mentioning not all room/view categories are available in every building.

Like you need to book ‘preferred’ to get in the Martinique and Barbados areas:

Aruba is a very popular location request and includes standard.

If you want to be near the Skyliner, I would at least try the Jamaica section so you can get to DHS quicker.

Note that no matter which part of Carribean Beach you pick, you will still have to take a Disney bus to get to MK. I would still recommend using the bus despite crowding because parking is quite expensive. That $30+ could have gone towards more Mickey-shaped snacks or souvenirs.

Thanks for your reply, I thought people who were resort guests didn't have to pay parking at the parks but like I said its been years since w'[eve been to Disney

thanks for this diagram really helps me visualize everything.

We stayed middle of Jamaica when we did CBR and the walk to the riviera station was not bad at all. With that said your plan being Hollywood studios and not Epcot I would try to put a request in for Jamaica 41, 42, 43. Might not get it but won't hurt to ask.

-great resort. we liked both the main pool but also having a side pool close by that never was really crowded and being on the skyliner is awesome. The bus system takes some time and can be quite full not only getting to magic kingdom but also the inner resort bus so honestly probably wouldn't hurt to drive over that day.

Resort guests do not pay for parking at the parks link

Because you are doing DHS you don't want the Riviera Skyliner station (by Aruba), that is the line to EP. You want to be by the main CBR Skyliner station. The rule of thumb for rope drop is be at your bus stop 90 mins before EE starts. You should make the first bus by doing that, they start running approx an hour before EE and I have seen reports they run extra buses in the morning (do double check on the CBR thread with our resident CBR experts). I would try not drive to MK, as you hit a time suck parking and transiting over to MK.

I kinda feel like you should watch some YouTube videos to get a feel for this resort. It's not just big, it's huge. It doesn't have a bus stop- it has a half a dozen bus stops. Oh! the other key thing is no elevators here so if that matters make sure you get your ground floor room request in.

I've stayed there twice.

First stay we got Jamaica 44 (4463) and it was wonderful. My second stay we got Trinidad and it wasn't for us – too far from everything. If could guarantee Jamaica or Aruba it would be my go-to resort. Any other area it'sj ust too big and too much walking and waiting for the bus.

Most important detail is what type of room did you book? Hopefully you booked a Standard room as those are in the perfect location between the Skyliner stations.

Mornings are actually the best for MK. They will send 2 busses at the same time. One will pick up Jamaica and Aruba. The other bus will pick up the other islands and Old Port Royale.
