Hi Everyone

We are having a DP in Epcot and our planner has told us that the UK Lower is probably the best location for us. We think we'll have about 30-35 guests.

What do you think? If anyone has had a DP at that location what did they think of it?

Thanks

I thought the UK lower was GREAT! You could see everything including all of the countries around Epcot which was great! I wish I had pics to show you but I don't have them back yet. There will be someone that will come along with pics though since a lot of brides have used the UK lower.

We're having our DP at the UK Lower Terrace. It seemed like a no brainer for us!

We had our DP in lower UK and we were very happy with that location. Its very private and keeps you separate from the park crowds. I would highly recommend this location!

We had ours at Italy Isola, which was great, but they won't let you book it for that many people. Italy West was right next to us, and I think it would be a good viewing place, but might not been as private.

We had Italy West....actually it rained so we have the dp at AAP...but it stopped and we got pictures at Italy West...(great view)

This is what they do to make it more private (we had 35 people)

I loved our DP at UK lower, but - just to warn you - some of us have experienced smoky conditions there during the show. It wasn't bad at our wedding, and there was no smoke at all during our anniversary, but then when we watched IllumiNations a few days later there was smoke and ash. It just depends on the wind.

Still, I think it's worth the chance because the view is so good, and I love how secluded UK Lower is from the rest of the park. Here are some pix:

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences.

I think We'll stick with the UK Lower then. Just hope the winds blowing in the right direction!

we had no problems at uk lower with our dessert party. All our guests loved it and the view was great

i have pics in my link below

So what is the best month without wind to use UK Lower, or is that a silly question? :lmao:

we had UK Lower and loved it, except we were stuck with all the smoke and ash. I'm talking huge raining pieces of ash on everyone lol. We were picking it out of our hair and clothes that night. But it was only for the last few minutes of the show. Just a bad night for the wind.

Wanted to add, I brought a huge bag of glow bracelets and glasses for everyone and put them out on the tables when we got there. Everyone used them and loved them (even the adults!) Just an idea :)

Just a quick question. Where did you get the Glow Sticks from?

Would Disney be able to provid them? If not I think I'd have to try to buy them once we arrived in Florida.

we got ours from a local £1 shop but i think micheals had them when we went to florida and I'm sure walmart or target had them as well

We got a tube of 20 of those glow sticks at he dollar store on our last trip to WDW
