Our family is staying in the Beach Club Villas in March for the first time. I was wondering if we should request to be in a certain building or area. It would be nice to be as close to the Epcot entrance as possible. Thanks!

You could request a woods view close to the BC. There is a walking path along the wooded side of the BC/BCV that is between Epcot and the resort that takes you as close as possible to the International Gate.

BCV is such a small resort (one small building) that I've never stayed in one room that I thought was a huge advantage as far as walking. I own at BCV and have stayed here maybe 20 times.

One of the drawbacks to a woods view is that some of them are close to that service road and it can be very noisy if you spend time on your balcony. This is my least favorite view to request at BCV.

As a pp stated, the villas is a small complex and there really isn't a long walk to Epcot from anywhere. We prefer a pool view since we go in Aug. and use the villa pool every day.

In 2010, my family stayed at BCV. BCV is one building located behind Beach Club Resort which is also one building. We had a woods view. There are no great views. I think having a pool view would be the nicest view to have as it is so peaceful there. Because BCV is one building, I don't remember any particular location being easier to get to Epcot. We usually exited the front entrance of BCV and used a sidewalk that went around the far outside corner of the Beach Club Rooms on the Epcot side to get to Epcot- Very short and easy walk. You will need to get a map when you check in which will help you to navigate around BCV and BC. Resort check in concierge desk, the market place, Cape Mays, Stormalong bay, etc are all located at the Beach Club resort but the BCV building is located just outside BC, so the walk is not that far. The bus stop is centrally located to both buildings and the parking lot is located beside the far end of BCV.
