Best limo rates?

I'm realizing I'm going to need to get at least a lux van for the 4 of us and I'm considering treating us to a limo. What is the best rate someone has gotten for a limo from MCO to Wilderness Lodge or any other disney resort? Payless limos has it for $140 but I've never heard anything about them either.

Any help would be great - oh and they need to take credit cards.

Definitely call Golden Limo's! Jimmy is wonderful, he's gotten rave reviews by many on these boards. His number is 407-869-9007. We found him to be by FAR the most competitive of all the limo companies out there.

Regarding prices for limousines, the best prices in most cases are the most expensive (because of best quality), professional chauffeurs, immaculate limousines, etc. ie: best quality. If you are seeking cheap only, then ask for the worst, old rusted out, ripped seats, smelly, with a driver that might show up. Another words you get what you pay for.

In many cases yes, this is the case. Not with Golden Limousine. There is a reason for that. Jimmy OWNS the limo as well as driving it. He also subcontracts to a lot of other services. When that happens, they add their "commission" on top.

So when you work directly with Jimmy, you are getting the exact same limo, and driver you would by using many other companies, for less money.

One other point to bear in mind: Don't get confused with the terminology of "Limo" & "Towncar". When reserving these, there will be different prices for each vehicle.

Snowy - I clearly do not want poor quality limo or driver. As with anything, prices can range drastically for limo service. I have seen quotes as high as $300 for round trip transportation yet I don't think they realistically offer any service difference from other reputable providers. I was merely asking what others had paid for their limo service and who was used so that I don't end up overpaying for nothing.

I saw Southern Elegance limos mentioned on a thread here and decided to give them a try; we don't go until 3/20, so I can't report on their service yet. However, in my e-mail correspondence with them, they have been fabulous; I've nearly always had answers within an hour that were complete and friendly. The contract slipped into oblivion with my spam filter, but I got a very nice follow-up a week later to see if we were still interested (I can guess some places would've just cancelled the reservation). It was these sorts of comments from others that made me check them out in the first place. We are going from MCO to Port Canaveral for $150, which compared favorably to most other limo services (not the least expensive, but near the lower end). Here's the info:

Yes Deb--It sure is He no longer does business with them after they sent another driver claiming to be him thta messed up a run big time. I've actually spoken with Jimmy a couple times abotu what happened, if you want the whole story, PM me and I'll be glad to tell you.

I don't believe Jimmy has a web site, but I'll be seeing him a week from today, and I'll ask him.

Anne - thank you so much for recommending Jimmy. I just booked with him today. Good rates and he was very friendly. When he asked who referred him I told him you did and he knew exactly who I was talking about. It sounds like you two have a great relationship - I think it's great that he is so friendly towards his clients. I can't wait to surprise my family with the limo.

Don't know her rate, but she booked with golden, so it is a full stretch.

Golden's white stretch will seat eight. We are using it htis upcoming Monday night to go from the BWV to the GF. We're having dinner then taking the Grand One out for a fireworks cruise. We have the limo booked to take us back to the BWV after as well There are eight of us, including a baby.

Hey Steph, nice to run into you over here! Congrats on booking your limo, I think it'll be a wonderful surprise for your family. I just booked with FL Tours and cancelled with Tiffany. FL Tours is charging a little more but I've heard their customer service is better. I didn't care for the responses I got from the office staff at Tiffany the other day when I called to ask questions and actually give them more business by adding an additional transfer. Whoever gives me the best service is who's getting my money. If I would have known about Jimmy I would have called him. Maybe our next trip!
