My boyfriend and I want to possibly have a nice meal one of the nights we are there, but we aren't good at planning in advance. Is there a place that you have been that doesn't require advance notice, that is reasonably priced?

Thanks! princess:

I have gotten last minute ADR's, but I don't know that I'd plan to walk up. If you have a smart phone you can check availability on-line and by location.

For example, if it is 4:00 p.m. and you're in Epcot and think you'll stay there for the evening, have dinner and watch the fireworks, you can search for dinner locations in Epcot that have availability that night. You can also check with guest services.

I have gotten day of reservations to Ohana, Cape May, Biergarten and the Wave when we've needed to make a last minute change to our plans. You just never know what you may find with a last minute cancellation.

As a walk-up, you're assured to have to wait until the people with ADR's are seated if you're even seated at all.

Agree with PP, I wouldn't just walk up, it is best to check earlier in the day to see what might have been cancelled. Also have gotten last minute reservations at many of the same place the PP said.

Good Luck!:goodvibes

What are you looking for? Are you wanting to eat in the theme park or outside theme park? With characters or without? Buffet or no? There are lot of choices. With just the two of you, you have a good chance of being seated without a reservation. But, without any more info, ESPN Club over on the Boardwalk is reasonably priced, we really like the food, and they don't do reservations. As long as it is not a sports championship night, seating should not be a problem.

I have done walk ups at Liberty Tree and Cape May dinner. Earlier in the day I tried to get the ADRs but there was no availability. When we wanted to eat we tried walking up on a whim, and were seated after 20 minutes.

The Plaza has walk ups often in MK, and most resorts you can walk up to breakfast but not so often to dinner (we have often stood behind people in the line who have been asking and have been lucky). Never heard anyone get a yes for walk ups in EPCOT but others may report differently.

One year we had adrs for somewhere (can't remember where) and decided to stay longer at MK - we went to guest relations earlier in the afternoon and asked them to cancel our existing reservation and if there was anywhere with dinner free in MK - we luckily got a slot at CP - think it helps to try a few hours before. :)
