Best kids QS meals for adults

I generally eat a kids meal as an adult meal is too much food. Which QS restaurants offer the best kids meals (food that Mimics the adult food- not looking for chicken fingers and pizza!)

BoG has great kids meals. My adult DD and I both order kids meals there. We've had the turkey sandwich, shrimp, meatloaf and pot roast. All items were great. Of the items I mentioned the only one that was a little too small was the meatloaf. It's ok for us though because we prefer to order small meals so that we can have a dessert or treat later.

It's so disappointing to me that QS restaurants don't have better/more authentic choices for kids meals, because I also like the smaller portions. My favorite is probably the Empanadas con queso at the outdoor QS is Mexico, in Epcot.

on my list:
Katsura Grill (kid size teriyaki portions, not sure if it comes with rice or not)
backlot express has a kid portion of dark side chicken and waffles (not really healthy lol)
pinocchio village haus has kid size flatbreads
sunshine seasons has a kid's salmon
harambe market has a single rib or chicken skewer on the kid's menu
satuli canteen (already mentioned)
Be our guest (already mentioned)

Also hit the things that are sort of "smaller meals" and not necessarily QS on the DDP...

There are not a whole lot of choices at QS, it's mostly poor choices for kids. Any chance you could share an adult meal? Or just suck up and eat what satisfies you and pitch the rest (I had bariatric surgery in July and this is my plan most of the time because I want to enjoy what I do eat). Or hit some snacks up too, the portions for those are not as big as some full out adult meals... like at Sleepy Hollow etc.

I will just suck it up and order a full meal if there are no good looking options. I just like to hear what other people enjoy. My husband is a big eater, so sharing a meal isn’t an option. 1.5 meals is the perfect amount for us, so a full meal plus a kids meal, soup, salad etc. is perfect for us.

it's tough. I've had to come to terms with throwing away food so I don't get stuck with things I don't want to eat. It is much easier at TS with appetizers and more appetizing kid meals but the QS options are pretty bleak. maybe sharing a couple of smaller entrees would help, like columbia harbor house is not super huge portions.

Pecos Bills has kid's beef nacho + you have the added benefit of the unlimited toppings bar
Yak & Yeti's kid's meals are just cheesburger, uncrustables, or chicken strips - but, they have side orders of chicken fried rice and egg rolls
Columbia Harbor House has a child sized salad with chicken and side orders of clam chowder or vegetarian chili
The counter service restaurants in Japan and China have child-sized versions of adult dishes
Sunshine seasons, along with the salmon already mentioned, has some hearty soups
Cooke's of Dublin has kid's fish & chips
Captain Cook's at the Poly has a kid's chicken skewers with salad (including this in case you're willing to go to a monorail resort for a meal while at MK)

I always order a kids tuna fish sandwich at Columbia Harbour House...just right size...so I can have a Dole Whip for dessert!

Another vote for sunshine seasons, we had the salmon last year and it was a nice light meal, leaving room for a delicious, not-so-light dessert

I think I might order from the kids menus for the locations that have the same items just smaller portions. I have recently lost a lot of weight and I am trying to not go crazy on this trip, but I still want to try everything. And I want desserts so smaller meals will make me feel a little better about it :P

I like cs kids meals too....mainly because I want to find desserts or snacks elsewhere throughout the day! Some place have just junk for kids, some have better choices. I read each menu till I find what I like

I've always wondered what kind of bread they use for that. If it's the yummy multi-grain bread, I'd like it, but I'm always afraid it would be the gummy white bread.

This is what it looks like. It is a thicker plain wheat bread...definitely not an artisan bread...but better than frozen white bread...like the pb&j ones...

I really enjoyed the kids braised pork at BOG. It seemed to be the perfect amount for me to be satisfied but not stuffed.

If you go to flametree at AK they have fries with pork on them and big meals so that would work. Also AK has lots of good snacks that can be a meal. Look at terra and eight spoons.
