Best Italian TS Restaurant at WDW?

We have had consistently good meals at Mama Melrose. Its our favorite. :thumbsup2

tough I heard Tutto Italia is good. I will tell you after Jan 15th when I go

Tutto Italia in Epcot WS.
I wish I could have licked my plate--it's that good!!
I can't wait to eat there again in Sept.

I think I am torn between Tutto Italia and Il Mulino. I have to make my ADR's very soon, and am not sure what to do. I've done Mama Melrose a few times, and I've liked it, but we're looking for something different, and a bit better.

We very much enjoy Naples here at the Disneyland Resort Downtown Disney, and it's owned by the same people who own Tutto Italia (Patina Group), so I imagine the food is similar in taste. Plus, I won't have sticker shock like so many others who dine there. I'm used to the prices already.

Just wondering if Il Mulino is that much better that it's worth the trek OUT of Epcot over to the Swan...(trying to keep our meals in the parks or on the monorail line, since we're staying at the Contemporary).

Il Mulino is excellent. Maybe the best meal we've ever had at WDW in 10+ trips. And we like to eat....

None. Sorry, but since Palio closed, it's an Italian wasteland (though I can't comment for sure on the new Portobello because I've only been there once and it's not fair to base an opinion on only one visit). And don't get me started on Il Mulino. The original Il Mulino in NYC is my favorite restaurant in the world, but it's a travesty that the mediocre outpost in the Swan is using their name. Maybe I'm picky because I grew up in New York and with the cooking of an Italian mother and grandmother, but it's sad what passes for Italian in restaurants these days.

We are trying Tutto Italia for the first time on our up-coming trip. I have only heard great things about it;)

We totally enjoyed Tutto Italia (thank goodness considering the prices). We thought the food was top notch and our service was excellent. It was the best or one of the best meals of our Christmas trip and we did a lot of table services this trip.

DH and I ate at Tutto Italia in Dec. We were on the Deluxe Dining Plan so
we had a lot of food and it was soooo good. The service was great. DH
thought it was our best meal that trip.

Tutto is incredible. We have dined there twice and plan on going back in Oct

Alright, we're going to do Tutto. That's my preference anyway. Last trip, we seemed to waste a lot of time commuting to restaurants outside of the parks, and we don't want to do that this trip (with the exception of the monorail resort restaurants, since we'll be at Contemporary anyway). I'd rather eat inside Epcot, on a night when we'll be there for EMH anyway.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
