Best Interval International Vacation?

My DH and I are looking at going to somewhere in the Caribbean next summer using Interval International. We used it to go to Aruba on our honeymoon and are now looking at either somewhere else in the Caribbean or Hawaii. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Last spring when we went to Maui, I walked around the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas property. It was very nice. I've seen pictures of the studios and they are the nicest studios I have ever seen. They even have a jacuzzi tub. Maybe a studio would be easier to get on a trade, too, through II. I've heard bigger units are hard to come by on Maui.

Thanks for your info. We were debating b/t Maui and Oahu. I guess that's good news for us b/c we would just want a studio, most likely.

If you have never been to either island..... Oahu is like any major US city. Somewhat crowded though nice beaches----the North Shore is good to see and you must take in the USS Arizona Memorial---- a very touching tribute to our lost heroes. But overall, a day or two is more than enough.

However, Oahu doesn't compare IMHO to Maui. Maui has it all...feels much more like a resort---very relaxing, GREAT shopping (just ask my wife!), plenty of water activities and good beaches.

We've been to Kauai, Oahu, the Big Island, and Maui....Maui is by far our favorite (the Big Island comes in 2nd).

I have not had experience with any of the II options so I can't speak to that.

Good luck with your decision---- Hawaii is a wonderful place to be!!
